STEAM learning is such a hot topic right now, and STEM / STEAM-related occupations are so challenging that the Federal Government has just extended a rule allowing foreign students studying in STEM fields, allowing them to stay in the job training for up to three years.
STEAM education stands for’ Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics,’ a term used in schools, colleges, and other academic institutions to describe a form of educational instruction on these subjects. With the rapid advances in technology, the education curriculum has to keep up with the changing and emerging times, so that students and young people can apply to a level where they can fill jobs in order to maintain this increasingly important field. Including the art aspect in STEM makes learning more enjoyable, and more available to children. A child who has never seen coding or computer science learning will be less overwhelmed and more interested if it involves something they’re familiar with, such as an art component, whether that’s learning it on an interface it uses a creative component to teach it, or whether they’re actually learning computer science by creating it.
